Black Public Relations Society & City of Columbia Office of Economic Development Partner to Host School Supply Drive

Schools are an important part of our communities and play a critical role in the future of our City. Therefore, Columbia Economic Development partnered with Black Public Relations Society and local Columbia businesses to host a school supply drive in the midst of COVID-19.

In these challenging times, families need a little extra assistance since many are worried more about basic needs than budgeting for school supplies. Now until Wednesday, September 23, 2020 community members and organizations can donate. If you would like to donate school supplies for the school drive, please visit one of the following community partners to drop off supplies:

Rhodes Branding - 2628 Millwood Avenue
Cost Cutters Hair Salon - 5510 Forest Drive
ERG Payroll & HR - 810 Dutch Square Boulevard
LS3P - 701 Lady Street
J Brown Studio - 5910 Garners Ferry Road

Suggested supplies include:

earbuds/headphones, wireless mouse, lap desks, reusable water bottles, mechanical pencils, pencils, glue sticks, erasers, crayons, EXPO markers, Lysol wipes, Kleenex, composition notebooks, scissors, hand sanitizer, headphones, wide rule notebook paper, spiral notebooks and colored pencils.
